Following a merger, a leading payments provider faced a challenge familiar to many scaling organisations: fragmented delivery, misalignment and legacy systems impeding momentum.

After our client, a national leader in payments, gained valuable capabilities and domain expertise from a series of merged entities, our goal was clear: to create a unified delivery approach that would build consistency, empower teams and provide a smooth end-to-end delivery process. 

 

We partnered closely with our client's internal teams and deployed dedicated ways of working coaches alongside a Jira and Confluence specialist to develop a 12 to 24-month roadmap. Through role-focused coaching, we equipped team members with practical skills in backlog management, sprint planning and agile ceremonies, empowering them to deliver value with confidence.

Creating a common language

To help establish consistency, we established a unified product taxonomy in Jira so our client would have a common product language. This enabled teams to plan, track and align their work with strategic goals, while improving transparency at every level. The result? Better collaboration, reduced friction and a more connected approach to delivery.

Enhancing visibility and risk management

Finally, the rollout of automated reporting and a Jira-based framework for risk and delivery governance provided stakeholders with early insights into delivery health, especially with Advanced Roadmaps and dashboard tools, enabling faster decisions and stronger risk mitigation.
