In collaboration with the client’s internal team, we helped enhance SOPHiA’s in-house automated testing capabilities, improve regulatory compliance and expedite time to market.

SOPHiA GENETICS is a cloud-based software company that leverages the power of artificial intelligence to aid researchers and healthcare professionals in the fight against cancer and rare diseases. 


SOPHiA GENETICS provides a platform, SOPHiA DDM™, that standardises and generates insights from complex, multimodal data sets from across the globe. DDM™ helps expedite the diagnostics process, assists physicians in the creation of informed data-driven treatment plans and supports cancer and rare disease researchers.  
 
The technology team needed technical support services to better serve its global user base. We’ve partnered with SOPHiA GENETICS to leverage SOPHiA DDM™’s functionality and help the company deliver best-in-class service to users to ensure it remains a valuable resource for healthcare professionals worldwide.

Expert infrastructure support and maintenance

At the outset, we deployed an agile-minded team across development, verification and validation and operations.  

 

     Our infrastructure support team’s contributions included:

  • Updating change and incident management processes that aligned with SOPHiA GENETICS’ already-established processes and workflows and aid in business continuity.
  • Enhancing its use of JIRA as an IT service management tool to include handling incident ticketing/reporting and tech support requests to streamline user experience
  • Working with SOPHiA GENETICS internal team to mitigate a backlog of issues within the DDM platform more efficiently, enabling the team to reach its stated objectives.
