Knowledge sharing goes beyond projects and office walls. It’s about creating open spaces where tech professionals – inside and outside Endava – come together to exchange ideas, ask bold questions and inspire one another. This is the spirit that drives our Connect IT meetups.
What started as a way to stay close to local tech communities has grown into a series of dynamic events across Endava locations. Think of our Connect IT meetups as relaxed evenings out with developers, engineers, product thinkers and curious minds; it’s where great conversations and meaningful stories come together.
A year of connection and community
So far this year, we’ve hosted 10 Connect IT meetups across Europe. It all started in Chisinau, where the energy of local engineers sparked our first sessions. From there, we made our way to Osijek, Warsaw, Skopje, Nis, Sarajevo, Sofia, and Ljubljana, with each city adding its flavor. Along the way, over 550 participants joined the conversation, while nearly 30 speakers shared insights, ideas and real-world experience.
Then, in Latin America, we brought developers together through five events – two in-person sessions across Bogota, Medellin, and Cali, plus three virtual meetups connecting professionals across the region.
Meanwhile, in APAC, we hosted two engaging events that sparked meaningful conversations within local tech communities, proving that shared knowledge knows no borders.
Tech talks that stick
At Connect IT meetups, we focus on what’s shaping tech right now: the topics that give professionals practical tools, fresh ideas and insights they can apply immediately. From AI-powered development and data engineering, to automation, modern front-end frameworks, design systems and resilient software architecture. Each session explores genuine challenges, with a focus on collaboration and making technology work in the real world.

Harry describes this shift as moving from building systems to designing intelligence. He brings focus to conversations, helping simplify goals and align expectations through agile thinking.
Radu adds that collaboration thrives through Endava’s AI Pods, which scale innovation across industries and projects by sharing proven solutions and approaches. Sonia works alongside these teams in Europe, using generative AI to explore new approaches even when data is incomplete, transforming ideas into tested results faster than ever.

Afternoon: reflection, creation and connection
As the European day slows, work in Latin America peaks, continuing the rhythm of collaboration. Cristina focuses on improving how data flows between teams and systems, making sure everything runs smoothly and on time. Guillermo simplifies pipelines so new data sources can be onboarded with minimal effort, helping his team deliver faster and more consistently.
This is where AI’s true impact becomes visible – intelligent data discovery helps teams find and reuse information instantly, turning experimentation into continuous progress.
Evenings are moments of connection and learning, as teams hand over insights across time zones and prepare the next cycle of improvement. This loop of creation and reflection defines what it means to work in an AI-ready organisation.
The new workday
Far from linear, today’s workday is cyclical, connected and continuous – blending human intuition with machine precision and replacing repetition with experimentation.
