WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Campaign Manager is responsible for planning and executing marketing activity and campaigns that are insightful, creative and smash their targets. In this role you will help support the Endava sales targets in the Payments & Banking verticals (we are finalizing which one and initially the role may be helping out across both).

 

The person is responsible for working with colleagues to understand what’s happening in the Payments & Banking verticals, working with team members across sales, delivery, marketing, and lead generation to continue to grow our business in new and existing accounts. This person will use these insights to build and execute campaigns, with the objective of generating and nurturing leads. In addition, they will monitor results, optimize media/messaging and take remedial action where needed to hit campaign targets.  Campaigns cover everything from paid social, events, media partnerships, webinars, and sales collateral (presentations, cheat sheets, etc).

 

5 years of previous experience is required along with bags of enthusiasm to work with a great team, hone your marketing skills and develop in a growing technology company. Bonus is someone with experience working in B2B, Payments or Banking, or in IT services.

 

What’s the day-to-day role?

 ** 

  • Executing on the current annual and quarterly demand generation and brand awareness plans (including nurture) in collaboration with the Marketing leads and industry vertical teams. Planning future campaign activity and acting as a marketing point of expertise in the industry vertical teams.

 

  • Coming up with new ideas on how we can improve campaigns on the go, and future activity. Refine campaign plans and pivot on marketing activities as needed.

 

  • Briefing our colleagues (internal and external suppliers) on what we need and when and reviewing and agreeing a plan of action. Holding weekly meetings with industry vertical teams to discuss ongoing marketing activity.

 

  • Briefing and working alongside our sales and lead generation team to run campaign activity, inclusive of hand-off and monitoring of leads.

 

  • Working with colleagues to ensure plans and campaigns are executed on time and to budget.

 

  • Reviewing copy and creative and ensuring these are delivered against campaign briefs.

 

  • Setting targets against campaign activity and ensuring these are hit (such as # Marketing Qualified Leads / Meetings / Opportunities / Sales).

 

  • Monitoring the results from campaigns both in-life and at the end of a campaign.

 

  • Optimizing campaigns based on in-life and final results so as to continually hit targets and improve future results.

 

  • Presenting end-of-life campaign reports to senior stakeholders showing impact of activity and recommendations to improve future results.

 

Qualifications and Experience

Do you have these skills?
Analytical thinking – you understand what the challenge is, think it through in a logical way and can present a clear plan on how to overcome it.

 Attention to detail – you can spot a typo or a space where it shouldn’t be and you ensure high standards in everything you do.

 Great communication skills – you can write and speak effectively.

 Teamwork – you’re happy to help out your colleagues across the business in a collaborative and knowledge sharing way and work as one team.

 Persistence – if you spot a campaign is behind target you’ll do your hardest to get it where it needs to be.

 Numeracy – you can interpret campaign results and budgets and provide accurate forecasting, trends and campaign results (and you’ll enjoy the numbers side of things!).

 Managing stakeholders – we work with many stakeholders who keep us on our toes, so you’ll be confident in building relationships with them, negotiating and using your influencing powers to get them on side.

 Time-management, planning and organization – there’s many steps in getting a campaign out the door so you’ll need to keep on top of multiple projects, activities and timescales.

 An interest and experience in marketing – from understanding what makes a great message, to what’s the best media to engage an industry segment.

 Working in a fast-paced environment – you’ll need to be comfortable working in a company where things change at short-notice and there are many things to juggle (you’ll have lots of support to help you manage all of this!).

 Can do the usual stuff on a computer - word processing, spreadsheets, graphics.

Educational Background:

University graduate, ideally with previous focus on communications or marketing related degree.
