Program Manager

Project Delivery Management


  1. Partner with internal clients, colleagues and third parties as required to structure and execute programs that enable successful business outcomes.
  2. Deliver the agreed scope/time/budget for the projects/programs which are running under his responsibility.
  3. Partner with IT business partners & business owners to realize business outcomes and benefits.
  4. Lead teams with direct and indirect (e.g. matrix) reporting responsibility. ** 
  1. Lead program lifecycle since initiation until closure
  2. Establish & take ownership over program governance ensuring transparency & traceability for all the program/projects items
  3. Assess risk on program level and implement the right contingency measures to address it
  4. Prioritize IT projects & programs based on the best use of the available resources maximizing the return of investment
  5. Actively advice & influence senior leadership decisions based on program evidence & outcomes
  6. Define & analyze program performance measurements and identify ways for improvement


Qualifications and Experience

10+ years’ experience of managing large-scale programs involving significant technology delivery, especially software engineering

  • Benefits realization – understanding and practical experience of working with sponsors to enable and realize business benefits.
  • Business content i.e. experience of an industry or broad executive experience across industries, knowledge of how businesses work (at least in generic way).
  • Ability to engage and influence at senior (and all) levels of the organization
  • Strong understanding and experience of effective program governance i.e. enabling timely decision making within an organization
  • Risk management – understanding and practical experience of strategies to manage risk on program level
  • Strong understanding and experience of effective project/program governance i.e. enabling timely decision making within an organization.
  • Ability to deal with complexity
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills to lead and motivate the team of professionals, as well as to efficiently advice to and support all business stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of project/program management methodologies and their practical application.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written)
