Senior Performance Test Engineer




• Analyze NFRs, help BAs/POs to successfully define them
• Design and develop a performance test strategy/ approach
• Create performance test data requirements
• Create, execute and maintain performance testing scripts
• Analyze, document, and report test results
• Analyze root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions
• Log defects for any issues encountered during the testing
• Suggest new tools and techniques improve testing efficiency


Qualifications and Experience


• At least 2 years of working experience in performance testing
• 3+ years of experience in software development (QA, Dev and etc.)
• Knowledge of performance testing for web applications and SOAP/REST web services
• Work experience with JMeter, HP LoadRunner, or other performance testing tool
• Experience with a programming language: Java, C#/ .NET, Python and etc.
• Familiar with Continuous Integration tools and their application in performance testing area
• Awareness with both end-to-end and component performance testing
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Shell scripting, PowerShell, etc.)
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Familiarity with resource consumption monitoring tools
• Able to understand both technical and business NFRs
• Ability to understand the application’s high-level architecture
• Good communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and objectives with support from colleagues
• Team-oriented attitude and ability to work well with others in order to achieve common goals
• Open to working in an Agile environment as part of a Scrum team
• Good command of spoken and written English
