Endava Joins COVESA, Strengthens Commitment to Connected Automotive Innovation

LONDON, UK (Oct. 4, 2023) (NYSE DAVA) — Endava, a global provider of digital transformation, agile development and intelligent automation services, is proud to announce it’s now a member of the Connected Vehicles Systems Alliance (COVESA).

Founded as GENIVI Alliance in 2009, COVESA rebranded in 2021 to reaffirm its focus on the connected automotive industry. Now, its 70-plus member brands are dedicated to developing common approaches and technologies that accelerate innovation for connected vehicles, creating a more diverse, sustainable, data-driven and integrated mobility ecosystem.

"COVESA is pleased to welcome Endava as a new member of our open, global community", said COVESA Executive Director Steve Crumb. "Emerging COVESA projects on vehicle experience and commerce are excellent fits for Endava and we look forward to their innovative ideas as we build common approaches that enable the delivery of data-inspired services to connected vehicle occupants."

As the concepts of car experience, manufacturing and ownership evolve, Endava aims to be a partner that delivers next-generation solutions that steer brands into the automotive industry’s future. A COVESA membership affords Endava the following benefits to help realise those goals:

  • • Increased Brand Awareness: Greater visibility through assorted networking, guest-speaking and expertise-building opportunities.
  • • Wider Reach: A stronger, broader platform to share thought leadership with alliance and non-alliance audience members.
  • • More Technical Workshopping: Help shape the alliance's technical knowledge and offerings through engagement, collaboration, partnering and influencing.
  • • Higher Volume of Networking Opportunities: Invitations to events that enable them to do business and make connections during events sponsored by CES, COVESA-TU and Connect2Cars.

“Endava’s membership with COVESA affirms our commitment to helping the automotive industry solve short- and long-term technology challenges in a time of incredible innovation and change,” Endava Senior Vice President of Mobility Scott Trometer said. “Endava’s heritage in Agile-native, world-class software engineering, along with our deep understanding of digital products, customer experience and the payment ecosystem, position us well to engage with the broader membership network to explore technology solutions that will ring in the era of the hyper-connected vehicle.”
