Endava is Celebrating 10 Years in Iasi and Continues its Growth Across All its Locations in Romania
One of the most active employers in Romania, global technology company Endava, is celebrating another milestone in its growth – 10 years in Iasi. With over 400 employees currently delivering innovation from its Iasi delivery unit, the company is opening a new office space to accommodate its growth plans on the local market, as well as at group level. With 2,000 square metres, the new office space is located in the Palas Iasi building and can accommodate up to 200 people, increasing its capacity to up to 630 employees.
Endava was one of the first IT companies outside of Iasi to trust the talented engineers in this location and, by investing in long-term relationships with its clients, as well as providing employees with rewarding careers, the company has seen consistent growth both on the local market and at group level. With a 30% year-on-year growth, the privately-owned technology company, registered £115+ million in revenue in the last financial year.
“We are passionate about creating success for our clients and enabling our people to be the best that they can be. I believe our culture is a key factor in our financial performance and we are well placed to continue to grow in the global business environment as well as in the local markets. The evolution of our company at group level allows us to create interesting career opportunities for our employees. What we want most is to create exceptional experiences and a positive environment for the people in our teams” said John Cotterell, Chief Executive Officer, Endava.
With over 2,300 employees in Romania, across its Cluj, Bucharest and Iasi delivery units, Endava reported a headcount growth of over 20% in the past 12 months. What’s more, in a recent software company ranking published by Ziarul Financiar, Endava was featured 3rd by turnover.
This year, the projects delivered by Endava’s teams in Bucharest are focused on payments, insurance and telecommunications and position the company at the forefront of innovation.
With twice as many projects, its largest delivery centre, Cluj, has also seen significant growth this past financial year. The merger with software engineering company ISDC has added projects from sectors such as Banking and Education to the company’s expanding portfolio.
Having established itself as an employer of choice in the locations where it operates, the award-winning technology company, invests in the development of its employees, providing them with an integrated career development system and access to learning opportunities, soft skills and technical trainings, maintaining a strong company culture, as it continues to grow across all of its geographies.
