Endava's expansion continues with official opening of the company's offices in Skopje, Macedonia

The Macedonian delivery centre already houses more than 30 IT professionals and the company expects to grow this number to 100 in the next few months, with planned growth to achieve 400 over the next four years. “I’m delighted to declare our new offices in Skopje officially open. Today confirms our dedication to Macedonia as part of our delivery strategy across Eastern Europe. The Skopje centre supports Endava's goal of enabling great careers in the IT industry for graduates and experienced IT professionals alike.” commented Endava Chief Executive, John Cotterell.

Macedonia further complements the list of countries which includes the UK, USA, Germany, Romania and Moldova, where Endava has offices.  Endava is a significant IT employer in all its Eastern European locations through well-established offices in Bucharest, Cluj and Iasi, in Romania, and Chisinau in Moldova.

Endava’s new office space in Skopje provides 3,000 square metres over three floors of the prestigious 'Kale' building, in an imposing location at the heart of the capital. Designed and fitted out to the highest specification in the IT-industry, the facilities include 19 meeting rooms, relaxation areas, a rooftop terrace, games room, and a space for staff to meet and socialise.

Endava had revenues of 86 million Euros for the financial year July 2013-June 2014 having grown by 50% over the previous year.  The firm also signed a number of large contracts with significant global brands.  The team in Macedonia are planning to recruit software developers (Java, .NET, mobile), software testers, project managers, software architects and business analysts.

Endava delivers IT solutions for large global players in banking, insurance, telecommunications, retail, travel, media and publishing. The Skopje senior team are in place and coordinating development of the technical disciplines responsible for delivering client projects. Participants in the graduate programme undergo three months of intensive IT training before being assigned to specific projects to gain hands-on experience. To date, seven graduates have completed this programme. More experienced professionals have the opportunity to work on large, complex projects delivered from Skopje for clients in insurance and telecommunications. This approach provides the IT specialists at Endava exposure to an international working environment from the local office as the Endava teams interact directly with clients in the UK, Germany or USA. Endava promotes a culture of learning and sharing through an apprenticeship model.  The company culture is shared and maintained by a monthly staff recognition programme for those employees who embody the corporate values of:  thoughtful, open and agile.
