About 400 people in 4 Moldovan cities, most of them representing companies which are member of Global Compact Network, participated in the national environmental protection campaign organised with the support of the UN Office in Moldova. This is the third year that Endava, as a member of the Global Compact Network, was involved in the environment protection campaigns. This year our team of volunteers rel="noopener noreferrer" removed waste from the Rose Valley, a public park in Chisinau.
Endava is supporting the GO GREEN campaign launched in Moldova and promotes a pro-ecological corporate culture aiming to make each of our locations a better place to live in!
About Global Compact
Global Compact is the largest global initiative for corporate social responsibility, launched in 2000 by the former Secretary General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan. Currently it counts over 6,000 participants from over 133 countries around the world. The Moldovan network, which includes 51 member companies, announced its accession to the Global Compact (GC) late in 2006. The Global Compact promotes corporate social responsibility and establishment of efficient partnerships between private companies and other social actors, to achieve a sustainable and socially equitable economic growth.
