What's this role about?

We're looking for a passionate IT Buyer to join our Procurement Team. • Receives and verifies with stakeholders’ requests for assigned materials. • Conducts searches for new suppliers of goods, evaluate their capabilities, assess risk, and qualify, as necessary. • Collaborates with stakeholders on price estimates for budgeting purposes. • Performs IT suppliers’ assessment & selection, establishes first contact with potential suppliers. • Executes RFx for IT hardware and/or services – negotiation, bidding process, price negotiations. • Conducts research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality. • Organize and manage vendor governance meeting with the scope of identifying optimization solutions for the on-going/new projects. • Supports with the negotiation of framework agreements/agreements with IT providers. • Supports with the development of long-term development strategies for product categories. • Supports/assists the IT category management allocated (benchmark & IT spend assessment, optimization and saving opportunities). • Evaluate current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Previous experience working with Oracle. • Strong technical skills with knowledge of MS Office package. • Excellent procurement knowledge. • Excellent analytical skills. • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business in English. • Attention to detail, ability to manage several tasks in order to meet the desirable outcome and deadlines. • Strong work ethic with a positive can-do attitude.
