Support Engineer - Cluj

Mandatory skills: Technical support background or system/network administration; Very good spoken and written English communication skills; Willing to travel abroad and work on-site with UMTS Operator's engineers under challenging conditions.

Desirable skills: Network protocols knowledge: TCP/IP, UDP, RTSP/RTP; Knowledge of DB Support: MS SQL , Oracle , MySQL; Experience in DB server administration + queries; Load and stress testing experience, automation testing experience; Knowledge of scripting languages: VBS, Perl, Python, bash/shell scripting.

Project description. Responsibilities:

Our client is a world leader provider of 3G streaming complete solutions in the mobile streaming industry. The streaming platform is a cluster based on functional modules and provides, among others, encoding, streaming and provisioning and content management services for mobile operators.You will join a dedicated team providing support and deployment services for EMEA based customers. 

Job responsibilities:
• Deliver technical level 1&2 support directly to Endava Partner's clients (leading UMTS operators) worldwide customer base;
• Maintain a proper relation with the customers and report the status of the outstanding problems;      
• Work closely with QA and development team in isolating, testing and resolving software issues; 
• Occasional travel abroad to resolve high severity issues or assist in the deployments of the 3G video streaming software solution.
