Mandatory skills: Active experience as Team Leader / Development Lead in structured teams; Significant experience with ASP.NET and CMS driven applications (previous experience with Sitecore CMS is highly desirable); Good knowledge of C#, HTML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, CSS; Understanding of the full development cycle and experience of Agile development methodologies and supporting tools; Motivated and dependable, has initiative, understands responsibility, team player; Very good written and spoken English communication skills.

Desirable skills: Experience in handling high-profile websites; Knowledge of AJAX, JQuery.

Project description. Responsibilities:

The project implies development of front end web applications driven by Sitecore content management system. The business model of the clients targets media services. The web sites are high-profile with up to and over one million unique hits per day, therefore requiring extreme focus on performance and scalability. Clients are part of the top brands worldwide in media, sports & entertainment. Project work is done using SCRUM methodology so familiarity with agile is a key point.

You will be required to lead a software development team, be responsible for every aspect of the project’s technical delivery, participate in logical and physical design of the product and understand the business requirements. You will solve complex technical problems that your team members may encounter, review and enforce the quality of code written by your team, tutor junior developers. As a Development Lead, you will facilitate work for an agile team of highly experienced and motivated developers and testers.Occasionally you can be involved in geographically distributed projects and you will have to work for short periods of time in other Endava Delivery Centres (i.e. in London-UK).
